Story
She has already lived everything she is about to sing to you.
Tiffany Scott is a native of Atlanta, Georgia — and Atlanta is written into everything she makes. A graduate of Tri-Cities High School's Visual & Performing Arts program, she was named Student of the Year in a school that has produced some of the most recognizable names in American culture — André 3000 and Big Boi of Outkast, all members of Xscape, Kenan Thompson, the production collectives Organized Noize and Bangladesh, Saycon Sengbloh, D. Woods of Danity Kane, and professional athletes Randy Thomas, Jonas Jennings, and Kalimba Edwards.
The company she kept early says something about the standard she was shaped by.
Her specializations spanned musical theatre, African dance, hip hop, classical piano, and jazz composition. She won both the local and regional NAACP Act-So competitions in drama and jazz piano, advancing to nationals as a finalist — and her jazz compositions earned national recognition from the NFAA, which brought her to the attention of Rollins College, where she received a full academic scholarship.
She graduated in four years with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts & Dance with an extended concentration in classical piano studies, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. Both. Simultaneously.
She now owns and operates XVI Music Group, LLC — a recording company and studio — working from natural human emotion, and asking through sound what it means to feel human.
